Villa Aloni
Villa Aloni - the Greek word for 'threshing floor', which is a feature incorporated in the design - sits just above its neighbour, Villa Sterna, and boasts unrivalled views to Ithaca, Lefkas and even mainland Greece.It sleeps up to six with three en-suite bedrooms - each either a twin or double - has a large, open-plan sitting room, dining room and well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms, a welcome relief on a hot summer's night, a TV/DVD and a CD player.
Marble floors extend outside where the centrepiece is a generously-sized swimming pool. Architect Morris Richards has paid special attention to the landscaping of the outside areas, which include a barbecue and dining area, garden arbours shaded by citrus trees and private courtyards with wonderful views.
